Sinopsis Español:

La historia se centra en un niño y su novia de la infancia, que lo acompaña todos los días en tren a la escuela. Después de terminar la secundaria, el niño se convierte en aprendiz en Taipéi, y la niña lo sigue para trabajar allí. La vida en la gran ciudad es dura, pero se apoyan y cuidan mutuamente. Más tarde, el niño es reclutado por el ejército. Cumple su servicio militar en una isla remota y se mantiene en contacto con la niña por correo.

Sinopsis Inglés:

The story focuses on a boy and his childhood sweetheart who accompanies him to school by train every day. After graduating from junior high school, the boy becomes an apprentice in Taipei, and the girl follows him to work there. Life in the big city is tough; nevertheless, they support and take care of each other. Later on, the boy is conscripted into the army. He does his military service on an outlying island and eagerly stays in contact with the girl by mail.
