SINOPSIS

Xiao-Kang y sus padres viven en un apartamento en Taipéi. Cada uno de ellos vive su vida por separado. La madre tiene un amante. Xiao-Kang tiene sus propias aventuras. El padre busca, solitario, placeres ilícitos en las saunas gay de la ciudad. Viven juntos, pero la distancia entre ellos es kilométrica. Como extra en un comercial de televisión, Xiao-Kang interpreta a un cadáver que flota a la deriva en un sucio río. Desde entonces, un dolor insufrible en el cuello lo atormenta y va creciendo hasta dominar su vida entera, física y mentalmente. Mientras tanto, el techo del cuarto de su padre comienza a gotear. Acompañado por su padre, Xiao-Kang hace un viaje para intentar aliviar su dolor. Su madre se queda sola en Taipéi para enfrentarse a la gotera… La enfermedad y las goteras, ¿son el inicio o el fin de la erosión de esta familia?

In a Taipei apartment live Xiao-Kang and his parents.
Each leads a separate life. The mother has a lover. Xiao-Kang has his own tryouts. The father pursues a solitary quest for illicit pleasures in the city’s gay saunas. They live together, but are miles apart.
As an extra in a TV commercial, Xiao-Kang plays a body adrift in a dirty river. Ever since, an insufferable pains in his neck troubles him. Soon, the pains grows and dominates his life, physically and mentally. Meanwhile, the ceiling of his father’s room starts leaking……
Accompanied by his father, Xiao-Kang travels for seeking to ease his growing pains. His mother is left alone in Taipei to tackle the leak……The sickness and the leaks, are they the beginning or the end of an erosion of this family?
