Recopilación de documentos, imágenes y sonidos de diferentes archivos para conectar el ayer con el presente en una lucha por la tierra y el agua en el valle de Guapiaçu, Brasil. A través de la edición, Ana Galizia muestra las relaciones afectivas de las personas que luchan por su tierra y, así, vemos la cooperación y la lucha contra los malditos proyectos que también ponen al agua como elemento en disputa.

Sinopsis Inglés:

Compilation of documents, images and sounds from different archives to connect yesterday with the present in a struggle for land and water in the Guapiaçu Valley, Brazil. Through edition, Ana Galizia shows the affective relationships of the people struggling for their land and, thus, we see the cooperation and the struggle against the damn projects which also put water as the disputed element.

The symbolic relation between images, the archive research, and the filmmaker’s work are part of an imbricated social struggle. The short film recovers archive material from this territory and frames it within a micropolitics as a liberation sign and as the map for a utopia that refuses to die because of capitalistic plunder.
