The same action is repeated a few times, with the piece of clothing riding further down with every take, creating a gentle suspense before the penis is bluntly revealed. Slotting into the strand of Friedl vom Gröller’s vast oeuvre that deals with sexuality in surprising ways, PALMER mischievously subverts normative expectations.
