Sinopsis Español:

La imagen de un camionero conduciendo toda la noche hasta el amanecer (vivo retrato de la soledad) se alterna con una conversación nocturna entre Marguerite Duras y su joven colaborador y amante, que intentan escribrir un guión imaginándose al conductor del camión y discutiendo sobre las emociones que pretenden describir y el método para hacerlo. Dos frustraciones, la de la imaginacion creativa de la pareja y la del conductor, se ven identificadas.

Sinopsis Inglés:

The image of a truck driver driving through the night until dawn (a vivid portrait of loneliness) alternates with a nocturnal conversation between Marguerite Duras and her young collaborator and lover, who are trying to write a script by imagining the truck driver and discussing the emotions they intend to describe and the method of doing so. Two frustrations, that of the couple's creative imagination and that of the driver, are identified.
