Sinopsis Español:

Un día, no sé ya por qué razón, volví a pensar en Bertrand, estudiante de cine. Había filmado largos planos fijos en la casa donde dormimos juntos. Treinta y cinco años más tarde vuelvo a poner en el tocadiscos de mi amigo Jean Lambert (el único objeto que me queda de él) “Variation pour une porte et un soupir”, que Bertrand había asociado a esos planos. Entonces, de la casa en Vattetot-sur-mer, me apareció House of Love (el título se impuso como el nombre de una playlist): lenta visión circular inscrita en el centro de tres lugares, reunidos en una geometría amorosa en el tiempo y el espacio. Linterna mágica embriagadora como un enigma, con vistas y objetos que regresan; que aguardamos y que sin embargo cambian sin cesar bajo la luz, según los ruidos (el viento), la vida furtiva de los animales. Allí, aquellos que están ausentes se reencuentran.

Sinopsis Inglés:

One day, I don’t know the reason anymore, I thought about Bertrand, a film student. He had shot long fixed shots at the house where we slept together. Thirty-five years later I put on my friend’s Jean Lambert record player (the only object I still have of him) “Variations pour une porte et un soupir”, which Bertrand had associated to those shots. Then, from the house in Vattetot-sur-mer, House of Love appeared (the title imposed itself like the name of a playlist): slow circular vision inscribed in the center of three places, reunited in a geometry of love in time and space. Intoxicating magic lantern as an enigma, with views and objects that return; that we wait for and yet they keep on changing under the light, along the noises (the wind), the furtive life of animals. There, those absent meet again.
