En el preludio del siglo XX, Pedro llega a Tierra del Fuego, un lugar violento e implacable, para fotografiar la boda de un poderoso terrateniente llamado Sr. Porter. Su futura esposa, aún una niña, se convierte en una obsesión para Pedro. En un intento por capturar su belleza, traiciona las fuerzas de poder que dominan estas tierras. Su traición es descubierta y es castigado. Incapaz de escapar, Pedro se ve obligado a convertirse en cómplice de una nueva sociedad que se construye a través del genocidio del pueblo selknam.
In the prelude to the twentieth century, Pedro arrives in Tierra del Fuego, a violent, unforgiving place, to photograph the wedding of a powerful landowner named Mr. Porter. His future wife, still a child, becomes an obsession for Pedro. In an attempt to capture her beauty, he betrays the forces of power that dominate these lands. His betrayal is discovered and he is punished. Unable to escape, Pedro is instead forced to become a complicit participant in a new society being built through the genocide of the Selknam people.
