Nacido en 1981, estudió teatro y diseño cinematográfico en la Universidad de Artes Aplicadas de Viena, y cine en Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains en Francia. Desde 2004, su obra ha sido presentada regularmente y también galardonado en diversos festivales de cine y medios de arte como Berlinale, Viennale, Art of the Real, Cinéma du Réel, Fidmarseille, IDFA, BAFICI, Karlovy Vary IFF, Sarajevo FF, BFI London, Ann Arbor FF, Impakt, y Exis Seúl, entre otros. Tras Müezzin en 2009 y And There We are, in the Middle de 2014, su tercer largometraje, Movements of a Near Mountain, se estrenó en 2019, por el que Brameshuber obtuvo el Grand Prix Cinéma du Réel 2019.

Born in 1981, he studied stage and film design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, and film at Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains in France. Since 2004, his work has been regularly shown and also awarded prizes at various film and media-art festivals such as Berlinale, Viennale, Art of the Real, Cinéma du Réel, FIDMarseille, IDFA, BAFICI, Karlovy Vary IFF, Sarajevo FF, BFI London, Ann Arbor FF, Impakt Utrecht, and EXiS Seoul, among others. Following Müezzin in 2009 and And There We are, in the Middle in 2014, his third feature-length film, Movements of a Near Mountain, was released in 2019, for which Brameshuber was awarded the Grand Prix Cinéma du Réel 2019.
