María Renée Prudencio lleva más de veinticinco años trabajando en México como actriz y guionista. Ha participado sobre y tras el escenario y las cámaras tanto en televisión, como en cine y teatro. Comenzó su carrera actoral con Jonás y la ballena rosada y uno de sus últimos trabajos en cine fue Club sándwich de Fernando Eimbcke. Como guionista, su largometraje Tercera llamada, coescrito con Francisco Franco, fue premiado con un Ariel a mejor guión adaptado. Los adioses, largometraje de su coautoría dirigido por Natalia Beristain, ganó el premio del público en el Festival Internacional de Morelia.

María Renée Prudencio has been working in Mexico as an actress and screenwriter for more than 25 years. She has participated on and behind the stage and the cameras in television, as well as in cinema and theater. She began his acting career with Jonah and the Pink Whale and one of his last films was Club sandwich by Fernando Eimbcke. As a screenwriter, her feature film Tercera llamada, co-written with Francisco Franco, was awarded an Ariel for best adapted screenplay. Los adioses, feature film co-authored by Natalia Beristain, won the Audience Award at the Morelia International Festival.
