Curadora y escritora especializada en cine y arte contemporáneo. Desde 1999 ha desempeñado varios roles en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Toronto - TIFF. Actualmente es jefa de programación del festival y de su cinemateca, en donde se dedica a supervisar la sección Wavelengths y a programar diferentes retrospectivas. Fue directora artística de la cuadragésima edición del Festival Internacional de Cine Documental Cinéma du réel en el Centre Pompidou, para la cual preparó What is Real?, una monografía en la que contribuyeron algunos de los y las cineastas más importantes de la actualidad. Sus textos se publican con regularidad en la revista Cinema Scope, así como en Artforum, Sight & Sound, Mousse, MUBI y Phaidon. Actualmente es asesora del Festival Internacional de Cine de Marrakech y curadora de otras exhibiciones a nivel internacional.

Film curator and writer specialized in the intersections of film and contemporary art. She has worked at Toronto International Film Festival-TIFF since 1999 in numerous roles and is presently Senior Curator of Film for the Festival and Cinematheque, overseeing the Wavelengths section and curating retrospectives. She was the Artistic Director of the 40th edition of Cinéma du réel at the Centre Pompidou, where she edited the monograph What is Real? with contributions from some of today’s most important filmmakers. Her writing has regularly appeared in Cinema Scope magazine and other publications such as Artforum, Sight & Sound, Mousse, MUBI, and Phaidon. She has curated exhibitions internationally and is an advisor to the Marrakech International Film Festival.
